Rosetta Bakery free guest Wi-Fi
1. Acceptance
By using the Rosetta Bakery guest Wi-Fi network ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
The Service is provided free of charge as a convenience to our guests. Each session is limited to two (2) hours and approximately 100 MB of data transfer. After that you may sign in again.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Transmit or download material that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
- Distribute malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, or interfere with the operation of the network or other users;
- Send unsolicited bulk email, conduct phishing, or harvest personal data;
- Use peer-to-peer file sharing for copyright-infringing material.
We may suspend or block access at any time if we believe these terms are being violated.
4. No warranty — use at your own risk
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
The Wi-Fi network is open in nature. You are responsible for your own device's security. Rosetta Bakery is not responsible for, and disclaims all liability for, any damages of any kind arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
- Unauthorized access to your device, accounts, or data;
- Interception of your communications by third parties;
- Viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- Loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption;
- Acts or omissions of other users of the network.
You should use a personal VPN, ensure your operating system and applications are up to date, and avoid transmitting sensitive personal or financial information over the network.
5. Privacy — what we collect
To operate the Service and improve our business, we collect:
- Account information you provide: name (optional) and email address;
- If you sign in with Google or Facebook: your email address and name from that provider;
- Visit records: which location you connected at, the date and time, the IP address assigned to your device, your device's network (MAC) address, and a basic device descriptor (user agent);
- Password: stored as a one-way hash (bcrypt). We can never see your actual password.
We do not log the websites you visit, the content of your traffic, or any data you transmit over the network. The Service does not store browsing history.
6. How we use it
We use this information to authenticate you across our locations, to operate and secure the network, to comply with legal obligations, and to understand which locations and times are busiest so we can serve you better. We do not sell your personal information.
7. Retention
Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. Visit records are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at the email address below.
8. Sharing
We do not share your personal information with third parties except: (a) service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations; (b) where required by law, subpoena, or court order; (c) to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page; continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
